9 words about: Mid-Autumn Festival

Sep 21, 2021 | VOCABULARY

This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival is probably like no others. The festive atmosphere that typically characterizes Hanoi’s Hang Ma Street or Saigon’s Nguyen Hue Walking Street, brightly lit with lanterns and other accoutrements around this time, is clearly absent.

That being said, have yourself a piece of mooncake, sipping tea while enjoying displays of lanterns (on TV maybe) with your loved ones and you can still celebrate the full moon in style.

And how about learning must-know words about this special occasion as well? 🙂

P.S. My favorite mooncake flavor is mixed nuts with salted egg yolk. What about yours?
